    Hi All, We are looking to automate measurement of 30 feet long pipes. We are currently using CMM but that does not cover whole pipe ID. Any other ideas? We will be interested in buying a solution too.

    I'm looking for an expert in machine safety or a flame sensor/detector to protect some machines from fire due to leaks of oil from hydraulic pumps.
    It needs to be install in two areas: one is near an injection machine and the other one is near smelting area (high temp) 
    Need the product and consulting (ex: best place to install, best technology to use, etc) we are in the quotation phase.

    We've tried NAPC, BidOcean, VendorLine, BidNet, and a few others. Each has their own advantage but none seem to be a perfect fit for us.
    The key feature I need is automatic email notification for opportunities based on a list of keywords (e.g. "SCADA") versus category/code (e.g. "20888 - Monitoring Software" or "90608 - Automation; Controls; Instrumentation"), which is a common feature.

    With my past couple of projects, I have seen an increase in requests to take on more and more aspects of the project instead of simply integrating a system and clocking out. Keeping things on schedule time-wise while working with these given products within this budget, etc. There's been plenty of talk about project life cycles and avoiding scope creep. Any simple tips or words of advice going into a new project and being asked to lead the project?

      We've had some success with tweeting about trade shows where we have a booth - a couple of people have found us at the event because of our tweets. We use FB primarily as a tool to engage and support our own employees, and LinkedIn to support recruiting.

    I need a small automated machine that can grind/bevel an edge on about 1”x1” round/oblong acrylic pieces. The material is Cast Acrylic, and the thickness of the material is from about 1mm to 4mm on average. I'm looking to process about 1300 to 1500 picks per day. I think I'll need a hopper/vibrating bowl, feeder, maybe two hydraulic shafts with rubber on the ends to sandwich/hold the material (just like a lens beveller) then rotate it 360 onto a grinding wheel or diamond wheel with a ...
