Arun has over 28 years of experience in instrumentation, controls, & automation. He started his career as an Engineer in the power industry, then transitioned to the business side of technology, including Marketing & Sales positions with Emerson Process and Schneider Electric. Arun joined Opto 22 in 2006, and is currently Director of Business Development; having responsibility for several key areas including strategic partnerships, channel development, & vertical markets including Energy & IIoT. Arun also mentors a team that includes Sales Managers, System Engineers, and Customer Service. Arun has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego in an MBA from Webster University.
