The Association for Advancing Automation serves the members of RIA, AIA, MCMA and A3 México. Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is a trade association that provides services on a global basis for companies that manufacture equipment, products and services used worldwide in the following industries: agriculture, construction, forestry, mining and utility. AEM's membership is made up of more than 1,000 companies and represents 200+ product lines.
For 30 years the Association for High Technology Distribution (AHTD) has worked to increase the productivity, profitability and market share of automation solution providers and manufacturers.

The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT) specializes in providing targeted business assistance, extensive global support, and business intelligence systems and analysis. AMT is the voice that communicates the importance of policies and programs that encourage research and innovation, and the development of educational initiatives to create tomorrow’s Smartforce. AMT owns and manages IMTS — The International Manufacturing Technology Show, which is the premier manufacturing technology event in North America.
The American National Standards Insitute (ANSI) facilitates the development of American National Standards (ANS) by accrediting the procedures of standards developing organizations (SDOs). These groups work cooperatively to develop voluntary national consensus standards. Accreditation by ANSI signifies that the procedures used by the standards body in connection with the development of American National Standards meet the Institute’s essential requirements for openness, balance, consensus and due process.
The Association for Standardization of Automation and Measuring Systems (ASAM) coordinates the development of technical standards, which are developed by working groups composed of experts from member companies. ASAM pursues the vision that the tools of a development process chain can be freely interconnected and allow a seamless exchange of data. ASAM standards define protocols, data models, file formats and application programming interfaces (APIs) for the use in the development and testing of automotive electronic control units.
The Brake Manufacterers Council (BMC) is dedicated to providing members current information relating to the brake industry and communicating with federal, state and local government and regulatory agencies on members' behalf.
BMC is comprised of brake friction manufacturers dedicated to: providing and maintaining, for the mutual benefit of all its members, communications as appropriate with federal, state and local governmental authorities, bodies and agencies, in short, authorities - such as NHTSA - with legislative or regulatory function whose actions may affect automotive brake parts or systems, obtaining and disseminating to members information on topics of interest to the brake parts industry, and conducting any further activities as may be appropriate and for the common benefit of manufacturers of automotive brake parts or systems.

The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) is an international not-for-profit industry association dedicated to the advancement of intelligent home and intelligent building technologies. The organization is supported by an international membership of nearly 400 companies involved in the design, manufacture, installation and retailing of products relating to home automation and building automation. Public organizations, including utilities and government are also members. CABA's mandate includes providing its members with networking and market research opportunities. CABA also encourages the development of industry standards and protocols, and leads cross-industry initiatives.
Founded in 1994, the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) is a not-for-profit, global trade association that seeks to advance the industry of control system integration. Control system integrators use their engineering, technical and business skills to help manufacturers and others automate their industrial equipment and systems. CSIA helps members improve their business skills, provides a forum to share industry expertise and promotes the benefits of hiring a certified control system integrator. The Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA) has been the voice of member companies that produce more than a quarter of the nation's lubricants and three-quarters of its metalworking fluids for customers who use their products to improve performance and increase efficiency.

The Organization for Machine Automation and Control (OMAC) helps manufacturers and suppliers work together to identify new and innovative ways to increase the effectiveness of their production operations. OMAC brings together leading end-user manufacturers, OEM machine builders, system integrators, technology providers, and non-profit/government agency organizations to address issues that confront global manufacturing today. OPC is the interoperability standard for the secure and reliable exchange of data in the industrial automation space and in other industries. It is platform independent and ensures the seamless flow of information among devices from multiple vendors. The OPC Foundation is responsible for the development and maintenance of this standard.

The Special Interest Group on Design Automation (SIGDA) is committed to advancing the skills and knowledge of electronic design automation professionals and students throughout the world. SIGDA does so in a variety of ways: sponsoring and organizing international workshops, symposia and conferences; leading the way in capturing archival electronic design automation publications; providing travel grants to sponsored workshops, symposia and conferences; pioneering the maintenance and distribution of electronic design automation benchmarks; hosting university and government researchers for software demonstrations; and producing newsletters, webinars and other educational materials.
The Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) connects more than 19,000 professionals from around the globe who leverage life sciences technology and discovery for scientific advancement. Every day, researchers, engineers, tech providers and related professionals from industry, academia and government use SLAS to exchange ideas, insight and answers to help tackle challenges old and new.
The Stanford Product Realization Lab is a multisite teaching facility where Stanford students discover the power to create the future.
